Leadership Development 2024-25

This course is designed to equip students with essential skills for professional and personal development. We plan to accomplish this through a combination of theoretical learning, practical learning and mentorship. In the first half of the year students will learn to create resumes, craft personal biographies, develop effective public speaking skills and manage their time efficiently. The second part of the year we will focus on developing financial literacy through learning budgeting skills, and trading.

Learning Objectives:

1. Personal Biographies: Develop skills in writing personal narratives that reflect individual strength, interest and aspirations. Learn how to effectively present oneself through written communication.

2. Resume writing : understand the components of a resume, learn how to tailor resumes for different job opportunities and create professional resumes that highlight skills, experiences and achievements.

3. Public Speaking: gain confidence in public speaking through practice sessions and constructive feedback. Learn techniques for delivering engaging presentations, structuring speeches and overcoming stage fright.
